Raising the Quality of Life for Survivors of Brain Injury
At Supportive Living, Inc. we call our residents "survivors". They have endured a life-changing event and are ready to rebuild their lives
History and Future
Founded in 1991 by the parent of a survivor of brain injury, Supportive Living, Inc. provides a home-like residential atmosphere and individualized support services to survivors who are capable of becoming more independent members of the community. Our houses are designed with the needs of survivors in mind they feature 24-hour staff support and supervision, a barrier-free environment, access to a community social life, and ongoing life skills training.
Before their brain injury, survivors were just like anyone else we know. They had jobs, families and busy lives. Our goal is to help survivors rebuild those lives and reach the highest level of independence that their abilities will allow. We strongly believe that survivors of brain injury can be productive, active members of society, particularly when they have the right support. Since there is no cure for brain injury, Supportive Living, Inc. will continue to develop innovative and highly specialized solutions to ensure that survivors receive the support they need.
