Local Business Donates 1% of Sales to Non-profit Charity

Local Business Donates 1% of Sales to Non-profit Charity Lexington Therapeutic Massage has donated 1% of gross sales to Supportive Living, Inc. which operates Douglas House, a residence and wellness center for brain injury survivors located in downtown Lexington. “Douglas House is a unique facility in Lexington,” according to Alice C. Paar, LMT, and owner of Lexington Therapeutic Massage. “We’re neighbors and we often see their residents around town. I’m struck by their courage and fortitude in spite of their life-long effects from brain injury.”

“We’ve shown our wellness programs can improve physical fitness and social interaction of brain injury survivors,” said Peter Noonan, Executive Director of Supportive Living. “So we’re delighted to receive community endorsement of our activities. Lexington Therapeutic Massage’s donation will help us extend our wellness programs to more individuals suffering the effects of a brain injury.”
