Neuro-Fit - Tom’s Journey to Strength and Mobility
Tom represents the heart of our Neuro-Wellness community. He is an inspiring example of how dedication to fitness and wellness can lead to remarkable progress. A resident at Douglas House in Lexington, Tom actively engages in a variety of Neuro-Wellness activities —including drumming, yoga, horticulture, and Neuro-Fit. Tom has embraced every opportunity to enhance his physical and mental well-being.
Neuro-Fit - Gaining Stride with Exercise
Doug McDonald is a Lexington resident who joined Neuro-Fit in the summer of 2022. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease eleven years ago and had previously tried different forms of exercise, including working with a trainer at his local gym and attending group exercise classes.
