Intern-Assisted Training Program
Participants work alongside college students pursuing careers in exercise or health sciences. The student interns, trained and supervised by Neuro-Fit’s professional staff, provide one-on-one assistance to help participants achieve their unique fitness goals. This program allows participants to receive direct support in a social, interactive, and motivational environment. It is ideal for individuals who enjoy an upbeat and educational environment.
Your Neuro-Fit routine will address focus areas that mean the most to you, including but not limited to:
Aerobic exercises to enhance cardiovascular fitness.
Functional training to improve activities of daily living.
Balance exercises designed to build stability and confidence.
Neuro-Focused Personal Training Program
Neuro-focused personal training is suitable for individuals looking for more challenging or higher intensity exercise with professional guidance. This model is facilitated by Neuro-Fit staff who are certified inclusive fitness trainers with a specialization in exercise to improve neurological health. Ideal candidates for this program include individuals who are transitioning from clinical rehabilitation services to a recreational setting. Our staff can help establish a consistent and well-rounded exercise routine that will last in the long-term.
A neuro-focused personal training program goes beyond physical fitness and includes training principles such as:
Dual tasking to support cognitive stimulation during exercise.
Circuit training to encourage executive function tasks like sequencing and planning.
Reactive balance exercises to help with fall prevention and independence
